Frankie Bones was a disappointment on our last night in Hilton Head, but it was the only place that took reservations. But it didn't seem like a reservation mattered as we didn't get seated for 30 min past our reservation time. The peach Bellini was tasty and the herb butter that came with the warm bread baskets was delicious. Other than that I could have passed on the entire meal. For appz we got calamari, spinach dip & two flatbreads: one with chicken and another with mushrooms and asparagus. My first bite into the chicken flatbread I bit into a chicken bone. Gross. The Caesar salad was disappointing as it tasted like it was just bottled dressing on sad lettuce. I had the salmon Oscar which was overcooked. Mashed potatoes were pretty decent but I make pretty decent masked potatoes from a box too. I'd rather wait in line any place else than have a reservation at this place.

Wow! My family and I were originally going to go to Wiseguys, but it looked a little bit too upscale for our post fishing attire, so we decided to give Frankie Bones next door a try. Food- I started off with the house salad with ranch that came with my entree. It had nice, crisp romaine lettuce, as well as creamy homemade ranch which is always a staple for me. My brother had the chicken soup which I did not try but he said it was good. For dinner I had the signature ribeye steak. It was delicious, cooked medium as asked, and marinaded in a perfect coffee coating. It was so juicy and delicious! It came with a side of some killer potato casserole that was cheesy and filled with bacon. I also tried some of the creamed spinach which was amazing. Spinach in general runs the risk of being too bitter, but their creamed spinach was a perfect balance of spinach and creamy flavor. I also tried the fingerling potatoes side which were soft, with excellent seasoning. I also tried some of the fettuccine alfredo, which im not a huge fan of, but it was still pretty good. The weird thing about this restaurant is that we were sitting right next to the kitchen, and every dish any of the waiters brought out looked amazing; literally everything, especially the meatballs that I wish I had tried. For dessert we had the butterfinger crunch cake and the triple chocolate brownie. Both had great flavor and were warm and melty. Seriously these desserts are like chocolate/peanut butter heaven. Service- Our waiter was extremely nice and helpful. He refilled drinks every five minutes, and seemed to have a personal story and connection to each dish! He even let us in on the secret to how their steaks taste so delicious. Atmosphere- The decor is very italian (similar to Bucca Di Beppo) and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between casual and upscale. Value- I was expecting the bill to be a lot higher than $150 for five people considering we ordered some of the higher pricing entrees as well as dessert. This is not by any standards cheap, but considering the meal we got I would say it was much more than worth it. If I return to HHI which is likely, I will definitely return to Frankie Bones.

Excellent food and service! We had the pleasure of being served by Trisha who was super friendly and courteous! We came for lunch and had the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza, club sandwich w/fries & chicken noodle soup and carrot cake for dessert and our bill was less than $25. The food was so tasty and filling and we will be back next year when we visit Hilton Head

Frankie Bones has great Italian cuisine for the whole family! There are fantastic Italian dishes with a wide range of prices. For dinner I had seafood pasta with alefredo sauce. I also tried the steak. The pasta was rich and creamy with perfectly cooked seafood. The steak was juicy and well seasoned. Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had! For desert I had a butterfinger crunch cake. It was a warm soft brownie with a crumbled butterfinger topping, served with vanilla ice cream. Our waiter was friendly and frequently gave us refills on our drinks. Our food and appetizers came out quickly as well. You should definitely go here if you are in Hilton Head.

Honestly was not expecting much but our waitress was the bomb and the food was very good too. I would put this up towards the top of your list while in Hilton Head. Cool NYC vibe inside !

I come to Bluffton to get my car serviced. My service guy told me about this place. It's just a short ride over the bridge to Hilton Head Island to this wonderful place in Main Street Village. Its not hard to find. I love the lunch specials. I finally brought my husband for a meal and we both enjoyed it. He was impressed with meatballs and his burger. My dirty martini paired well with the meatballs which are flavorful and large. Two are more than enough. My goat cheese salad was very good and the young man who was our server made sure we were happy. Cannot wait to come back for supper. Wonderful interior takes you back to the times of men in sport jackets and women in heels and dresses out for a meal in a really cool supper club. Poker anyone?

Has brunch, tried the vanilla cinnamon French toast..served with bacon..no substitution mentioned when I said I didn't eat pork..then after the meal was served I said they should offer substitution like chicken from the chicken and biscuit..then the waiter said I should have asked..how am I supposed to know...suggest it next time. Overall not bad. I would go again.

As a caveat, I do not eat steak. Review - I thought this place was good, but nothing special. Standard calamari, fried mozzarella and salads to start. I asked the waitress, Kelly, for a recommendation for a seafood dish and she said I don't know the one with less seafood because I don't eat seafood. I asked for another suggestion and she also said I don't know. Everyone else in my party liked their meals. I would go back, but don't think it is anything special on the island. Go to Morton's or equivalent at home and get something local on the island.

We were craving some Italian food on our vacation to Hilton Head, and had a little trouble finding a place that was open on Sundays...thank goodness for Frankie Bones! This place is seriously delicious! We were there around 5:30 so we took advantage of the early bird menu (select entree's and choice of soup/salad for $14-15, and wine by the glass for $2.75). We both started with caesar salad, and I loved that the server asked if we wanted anchovies or not when we ordered. The salads were good, and the bread with herb/sundried tomato butter vanished quickly- yum! For entree's I had the Seafood Pasta in the parmesan cream sauce, and my husband ordered the Cannelloni. Both were great!! Absolutely don't miss the Cannelloni when you go, the red sauce is perfect- and I have high standards as an Italian ;) Our server was the nicest guy, the bartenders were busy taking great care of everyone, they play great music, the owner checked in with us throughout the meal, and the food was great. Don't miss Frankie Bone's if you are vacationing on HHI!

I brought some friends from Ireland for lunch. They had never been there before and are excited to recommend Frankie Bones to their friends. Gerard was our server and he was very attentive. LOVED the Softshell Crab sandwich. Another great meal!!!

Amazing! My husband and I had Frankie's Fabulous Ribeye and it did not disappoint! I ordered mine medium and it was cooked wonderfully and so juicy! The marinade was delicious and melted in my mouth! The twice baked casserole was a perfect combination and we added some fresh shrimp too! The staff were welcoming and our waitress, Trish was on top of all our needs! Trish rocks! Favorite place in Hilton Head this far! We will be back!

The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is that my wife got sick after eating there. I suspect it was the Caesar salad, but not sure. Regardless, her lobster mac and cheese was great, as was the fried calamari. I got Hawaiian Sea Bass, which I loved. The atmosphere is nice and the service was very good. Despite my wife's issue I would go back.

So I was hoping to have an amazing time here but our waitress was just a rude and lazy woman. I wish I remembered her name so I could help whoever goes next to avoid her. I can't say that another waiter would have made a difference because we didn't have one so its up in the air. We were at the restaurant for almost 3 hours. Our appetizer came 40 minutes after we ordered it, and our waitress didn't even come by our table once to let us know that we would have to wait or why it was taking so long or even to check up. No water refill. It finally came...but no soup. When the soup finally came (30 minutes later ) our main course came 2 minutes after that. So unorganized. It took 20 minutes after we were done to be offered dessert. My boyfriend was about to lose his mind, it was a horrible experience. But the mussels were good. So I guess go and hope you get a good waiter!!

We found this place just looking through a restaurant magazine. Our kids are very set in what they eat from a certain type of restaurant, so we were ready for the standard chicken fingers and steak reply from them. My son opted for the pork chop which made me very jealous when it came. Our daughter had a penne with chicken and broccoli which also was great. I got a little grief from my wife when I ordered the prime rib- that is also a standard for me. It was the BEST prime rib I have ever had!!!! It has cooked perfectly and needed no extra seasoning. I declared after dinner that I am officially retired from ordering prime rib out. I have had the best one ever and I don't think it will ever be beaten. It was a huge hit for all 6 of us. We rarely double up on a trip but Frankie Bones may be an exception.

My family ate here and everyone was very happy with their food. The service was great. We got the calamari appetizer and it was good. I had the vegetarian option. It was spaghetti squash pasta with vegetables and broth - amazing! They do under $3 house wines during early bird ( before 5:30) and also have some delicious early bird dinner specials. My dad got the pork schnitzel and loved it. My sister got the teriyaki filet and popcorn shrimp and it was very good as well. The sides that stood out were creamed spinach and twice baked potato casserole. My Mom really liked the seafood trio. We will be coming back for sure. I highly recommend this place. I also thought the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of the food.

We had dinner last night with a large party. We had reservations and were seated promptly when we arrived. Food and drinks were by far the best we have had on the island. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was sinfully amazing and a must do when dining here. My husband had the surf and turf and it was so yummy. The service was great too. Overall, this place has our vote for best restaurant on the island, it's sister restaurants need to take note because they didn't live up to Frankie Bones.

Phenomenal meal and outstanding service tonight at Frankie Bones. Dave was the best server with a fun sense of humor. Very prompt and attentive to our needs. I had the coffee marinated ribeye and it was to die for. Husband had seafood spaghetti and it was good but he kept eating my steak;)! My dad had the trifecta and stepmom had the crab cakes. My son had the Mac and cheese, and daughter had the pepperoni flat bread. Everyone loved their meals. On top of that, we shared the fried green tomatoes as well as the peach salad which were both great although I thought the peaches were flavorless which surprised me this time of year. We all shared the almond joy cheesecake and felt it was the best cheesecake we ever had! Also shared the chocolate cake which was delicious. All desserts are made in house and it shows! Best meal of the week during our stay at HHI.

I grew up in the lands of T-ravs, (toasted ravioli, normally found just in St.Louis, MO) , and when I saw these on the menu...that is all it took. They were up to par also, excellent I may add. The chicken tenders were unique and not your typical breaded diner looking chicken tenders (those are good too), but these are more batter dipped, softer and juicier. This will be a repeat spot, just for the toasted ravioli alone. (Took my order to do, I have no perspective yet on the dining experience..yet.

Our party had 2 of the best servers ( Joe and Nikki ) , I could ever imagine ! We were treated like kings and queens . The food was over the top . I let Joe make some suggestions on appetizers , the best idea of the night . 5 stars and more to this place . Happy birthday Mom ! Above and beyond ....

Came here for the first time with the family and was pretty pleased. However, I recommend their seafood over their steak/meat dishes. Ordered: bacon wrapped shrimp, cheesy garlic bread, full rack of ribs, fried seafood platter, lobster, the ribeye, and the butterfinger cake as a dessert. Pros Service was good. Great variety on their menu! I only wish I could have sampled additional options. Quality of the food, especially the seafood was great! Everything was delicious and the portions were a good size. The fried seafood platter was not overly battered or too crumbly. That fishy seafood smell was not present, which gives two indications- that the seafood was fresh and that it was cooked properly. Definitely recommend the butterfinger cake! It has a nice crisp crumble layer on the top, served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Nom nom nom! Cons The only qualm was that the ribs were not fall off the bone tender and the steak was a bit too marbled. The steak was also not evenly cooked. Some parts of the steak were more pink and some more well done. While the meat dishes were good, we've had better. Observations/Recommendations - Essentially, if your heart is set on a really tasty steak or ribs or whatever, you should probably go to an actual steakhouse or bbq restaurant. - This place appears popular and can get busy. The layout of the restaurant is small. We came on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm and there were people still waiting. Originally, we were told we have a 45 minute wait, but then were seated within 10-15 minutes. If you can, I recommend coming early or making reservations. Final Answer Definitely worth a trip, but better as a seafood restaurant than a steak restaurant.

First of all, I have to thank the other reviewers before me as it was because of you that we went to Frankie Bones, and had the best meal of our vacation!!! Started off with bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer- Wow! De-lish! My hubby and I both ordered twin lobster tails - superb! Entree came with a house salad with exceptional red wine vinaigrette, and a side of whipped potatoes. My eldest son had teriyaki steak with popcorn shrimp - he practically licked his plate! My younger son ordered from the "Brat Pack" kids menu - grilled shrimp and skinny fries - he loved it! I usually don't order from the bar, but hey, it's vacation- had TWO Hilton Head Island Ice teas - highly recommend them! My husband had a few Miller Lites. Oh, and my bottomless pit 15yr old concluded with a piece of key lime pie - the rest of us were completely full!! Service was EXCELLENT! Manager even visited each guest to make sure everyone was satisfied. Our bill was $173 and change before tip and worth every penny- including the twenty something percent tip we left our fabulous waitress. Hope this helps! We may even go back this week .

Slow service for a Friday at 1:30 pm. Not very crowded and I informed our waitress we were in a hurry, but she seemed to disappear in the back for long periods of time. My burger was excellent, but my son's salmon burger was very "fishy" and I could barely cut through the bun it was so hard. I'll probably be back to give it another chance, but my first experience wasn't that great.

We had to get away from the golf tournament on the other end of the island, so we ventured out and gave this place a try based on Yelp reviews. There was a long wait for a table inside, but they said they could seat us immediately on the covered patio, so we took the patio. The downside of the patio is that it's right next to the kitchen / employee entrance where the employees were taking their smoke breaks, so we had to endure the smell of cigarette smoke a couple of times during our meal. The service was very friendly and prompt. I tried the special which was a tortilla-encrusted local sheepshead (fish) with salsa verde and cheesy grits, and it was very good. I also couldn't resist trying a side order of their whipped sweet potatoes. Oh my! Those should be on the dessert menu! Prices were a little high, but the food and service were good. I just wouldn't sit outside on the patio if you can't stand cigarette smoke.

It's to fancy for when you leave the beach. I got the Italian sausage pasta and it had 0 flavor. I had to switch with someone else I was with because the pasta tasted like ramen noodles. Bad service and defiantly not recommended to people visiting the area.

I really wanted to like this place. I have had lunch here before and it was OK. Dinner was another story. Rockfish was too earthy and the fish had no flavor. Extremely small portion for what i paid. My dad got the nona's country gravy. I took one bite and almost lost my meal. Tasted like over seasoned chef boyardee over noodles. Restaurant is trying too hard to be upscale. At best it is a diner with typical diner food. Stick with the basics- burger and fries. Anything else and you will be disappointed. You have been warned.

We love this place! The chicken saltimboca is amazing along with the veal option if you like veal. The coffee marinated steak is awesome. You really can't go wrong with anything here. The warm bread and herb butter is so great and the best wedge salad I've had... huge and plenty of blue cheese dressing. The ambiance is a throw back to the great Frank Sinatra. Fabulous cheesecake as well!!

Frankie Bones- a Rat Pack/50s-60s themed restaurant/bar with style! I love the feel of the place and although I can't speak for much of the food, I can say that the seafood stuffed mushrooms (per my wife's request) were great. They also had a bunch of options for martinis (if you are into them), but I didn't see them listed on the website. I got a classic, and the better half got a chocolate cherry (or something like that) flavored one, and while the flavored one wasn't my style, they both seemed made well, and the bartender was very attentive and seemed to know what he was talking about. Great place-I will be back!

Tiramisu is tiramisu is tiramisu...or so I thought. I didn't realize a place claiming to be "Italian" would butcher the classical dessert so much. It was the most heinous, bland, "not-tiramisu" tiramisu I've ever had. After one bite I sent it back and refused to order another dessert I was so annoyed. Their "tiramisu" (which I categorically reject as tiramisu) had zero mascarpone, zero coffee, the ladyfingers (if you can call them that) were not dunked in anything, it had 2 layers with a mound of whipped cream/light meringue between with a sift of coffee powder on top. The flavor was uninspiring and monotone. It was the most awful end to a meal I've ever had and I will not be returning...ever...and I live here. The rest of the meal was mediocre, albeit, overcooked. The broiled escargot was rubbery and lacked the herbs and garlic normally accompanied with it, which they claimed to have. The veal saltimbocca was, again, overcooked and rubbery and lacking in inherent flavor. The sauce to accompany the saltimbocca tried to make up for it, however, again, it failed it's purpose. The only highlight to the saltimbocca was the "fried" eggplant. It wasn't really fried, it was pan fried on one side and the other side was soft and soggy. Their wording is inherently deceptive. However, it did have decent flavor and was the highlight of the dish, if you can call it a highlight. The Serg group categorically dropped the ball in this restaurant. There are far better Italian restaurants on the island, and I for one, as a personal chef, take serious issue with the quality of their food and price point. Whomever is running their kitchen/designing their menu does not know how to develop flavor nor prepare true Italian cuisine. I will not be returning EVER!

Absolutely incredible! Great selection of food and drink with an amazing waitstaff! Carr was our waiter, and he did an exceptional job. Lobster mac and cheese is a must, and the brownie (sounds bland - I promise it isn't) is to die for.

Went to Frankie's on a Sunday night. Ordered short ribs - awful. And side dish was cold. My lady's dinner wasn't up to par either, prime rib looked like it was sitting on a shelf for a while. They never asked how things were. Maybe Sunday's a bad night

I come to HHI with my favorite man in the world and his awesome family so I'm generally pretty happy to be on the island. But I ain't throwing a friggin bone when I say this place is 5 stars. We came to Frankie Bones while waiting to be checked into our hotel. They we serving brunch I nabbed a godfather sandwich . As a sandwich lover from NYC I was nervous but this sandwich had the right amount of meat, dressing and bread to please my timid tastebuds. The handsome guy next to me ordered ranch chopped steak and he loved it. Another table hit was the blueberry ricotta pancakes. Overall everyone was very happy with their meal. I love a new experience and like to try new places but going back to Frankie Bones on our last night seemed to be the perfect ending for our trip. It was like an all new restaurant because we got to experience the dinner menu and with our fresh off the beach appetites we got to try quite a few new menu items. We started with artichoke dip and the made meatball sliders. I enjoyed cannelloni my partner got fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken and other members of the party loved the spaghetti squash, eggplant Parmigiana , They shake martini's at your table and everyone was generally happy with the cocktails. There is a drink called Godfather. It's made with a ten year scotch. It has a flavor similar to a bandaid or that throat spray you may remember from childhood, One of the party noted and also said" I like it. I liked that throat spray" so it's not a diss just something to be aware of before you order that drink. Desserts were key lime pie, peanut butter pie and Butterfinger cake. All were super and gone in seconds. The decor is fun . One major perk is the scrub they have in the bathroom. The staff wasn't super friendly nor were they rude. They were efficient and everything came out in a timely fashion. The one remark was the lack of bread, most anywhere there is pasta served bread is also. so if you need bread with your noodles , this may be a deal breaker for you. Overall I'd say give it a taste!

I admit, I stumbled upon Frankie Bones by accident -- it was the only restaurant still open as it approached 10 p.m. after a drive into Hilton on a Friday night. And maybe the excitement of arriving on the island and being ravenously hungry made the first impression that much better. Spaghetti and meatballs ended up being the dish of choice, and fell in love with it, though eating it the second and third time didn't have quite the charm. What DOES have charm is the restaurant itself. Frankie is Frank Sinatra, and the restaurant is filled with crooning music, secluded seats and old black and white photographs. It's almost alway packed, and has an open bar area that seems to be a hot spot for enjoying a swanky cocktail. Service is friendly and parking fine, off Main Street in the Northern part of the island (you won't find the beach partiers here). One of these days I'll actually try something else of the menu, but while the food might be bordering on three stars, the ambiance can get under your skin (in a good way) and you feel you could easily be in New York, New York in the 50s... as if blue eyes would step in at any moment for a martini.

Very nice decor, friendly staff. An appetizer of twice baked potato spring rolls was excellent. Bread was warm and served with a high quality olice oil. Meatballs were very good. Chicken Marsala terrific. Veal parm super tender and a large portion with pasta. We did have to ask for more sauce for both meatballs and veal parm but no big deal. The sauce is very good, would be outstanding with a bit more garlic. This is a good place for both couple and well behaved children. All around excellent food and service.

Fantastic. Great decor. Great food. Great service (waitress was awesome!!!). Casual. I had one of the specials of the day, twin 4oz. fillet medallions with a mushroom sauce and whipped potatoes. Delish!!!! The rest of my party had linguini and clams, spaghetti and meatballs, NY strip, and the sirloin. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Absolutely fantastic!!!! The bread was ok. Wished they had a bigger selection of craft brews. We came around 5:45 without reservations on a Sunday and were seated promptly. By the time 7pm came around the place was packed. So....reservations highly recommended.

Restaurant was excellent. Loved the atmosphere. Loved the food, just filling enough to feel full, but not too much to feel overstuffed. Prices we're more competitive than even some lower-end restaurants! My one gripe would be that the waiters/waitresses seemed to be spread a bit too thin. Took a bit longer than expected to have empty plates cleared away from the table and drinks took a bit long to have refilled. But it wasn't anything to be irked about, just something I noticed. Overall, an incredible restaurant!

We have had some really good food there but some really BAD service. For the price, the service should be excellent and it's far from it. We tried complaining but from the reaction we got from the manager, I suppose we should bus our own tables and sit without drinks throughout the meal. Our last visit was our LAST visit. There's too many other options in Hilton Head.

Highly recommended. 1st time here. The food, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. 2 adults and 2 children, 3 courses per $165. Prime rib, broiled seafood trio + lobster tail, chicken soup (must have), potato casserole, sangria, beer. All prepared perfectly, served promptly and professionally. Will def vome back with the return trip to H.H.

This place came as a suggestion from one of the waiters on the island. We just loved the feel of the place. A bit dressy with an awesome supper club type of feel. Wish they had cranked up the music a bit to add more to the atmosphere. We had a 7:30 reservation and was seated in about 5 minutes. I was leary of the coffee-rubbed ribeye, but after having a few bites from my husband's steak, I was a believer. It was excellent. My daughter said that her prime rib was the best she ever tasted. I wasn't too hungry so had a salad and flatbread. Both were solid. We typically do not get desset, but decided to try the butterfinger cake. Oh. My. God. I am not a Butterfinger fan, but this cake was excellent. More like a super moist coffee cake with a Butterfinger crumble topping. Served with a huge dollop of whipped cream and some wonderful vanilla ice cream. This was truly a special dessert. Will definitely be back next time we are on the island. This is definitely out kind of place. Excellent wine list, good food, reasonable prices on top of a fantastic atmosphere.

let's work our way in shall we, beautiful restaurant from the outside great lighting. The greeting from the host may have not been the happiest but that's okay we were here for the food right? We opted to sit at the bar. The bar tender was awesome, she explained the chips that you get from the house for a drink later on. I had an old fashioned hubby opted for the single malt whiskey. Did not have appetizers, I had the crab cake dinner and hubs the NY strip. Both delicious. We will visit during our next trip.

We went to Frankie Bones on a Monday night, off season. It was wonderful. Service attentive, never had to ask for any refills, etc. I had the coffee rubbed ribeye (*****) and my husband had the lobster mac & cheese. Also yummy. Prices are great for the food. Lobster mac was $25 and you got the meat of a 1 lb lobster, with soup or salad, my 16 oz coffee rubbed ribeye ($25) was absolutely wonderful! You go next door to Wise Guys and pay almost twice that for a smaller one. Rat Pack ambiance, clean and pleasing. This is my first time visiting the island and from what I have learned, never come here in the summer. You will experience large noisy crowds, long waits in restaurants, unbearable traffic, and probably way too many kids... I was told that January and February are even better. Don't pass this place up.

We made reservations so that was nice, but we arrive on time and are forced to wait another 15 minutes which is not bad but then when they seat us they place the family in the kitchen / Bathroom area . You know kids .... Especially 4 girls are sometimes unwelcome in the main dining area. No windows nothing but a tv playing the Simpsons... I was ok but then the waitress (she acted as if she had been at work for 48hrs ) told me that they were out of their signature dish .. The Lobster Mac and cheese . Had been for the last couple of hours, and this was the off season .. Hmmm. Just to warn you. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms they were awful the cheese might as well been cheese Whiz ... And it may have been..there may have been a small piece of seafood in it couldn't tell . They did have a nice cocktail sauce . I ordered the marinated Ribeye which i could have done myself with "Dales" and it would have taken 20 minutes not two days. In the end I signed my 120$ bill and left wanting. I think everyone has different experiences so you may want to give them a chance but as for me and my family we won't be back. Don't ever stick my babies in a corner Frankie! In the end the staff seemed over worked and the food would have been better had they any left.

We have been eating here since they opened. Unfortunately, we have noticed some changes. Portion sizes have decreased and prices have gone up; in some instances significantly. I order the Broiled Seafood Trio quite often, and have really seen this item go down hill. Has runaway success gone to their head? Sure hope not, but see no evidence to the contrary. PS: happy hour prices at the bar only. Not at your table. Cheap.

Went last year with some friends and loved it, ended up getting take-out this year, the Seafood Spaghettini, white style, (pasta with shrimp, crab and clams in a parm sauce) was excellent. The pecan-encrusted crab cakes are the whole reason I wanted to go back and they were just as good this year as they were last year. Wish we had one that was local here!

Terrible service! We walked out after being treated like cattle! Rudely I might add! We won't be back!

Here on HH for two weeks and dined here two times...well worth it. First visit had Veal Piccata, second time Veal Ravoli. Delicious! Reservation is suggested.

The atmosphere is great! Small rooms all finished with Frank Sinatra memorabilia a very warm and cozy environment. Our server Melissa was so much fun and extremely helpful with things to do in HH. I had the chicken piccata it was delicious very large portions and very flavorful. My wife had the chicken Pisano which was also outstanding. We with with a group of 8 and everyone raved about their meals! The hit of the night was the lobster Mac and cheese a signature dish which has a whole Maine lobster in a four cheese penne pasta. If you are looking for a non touristy place this is the one! The free birthday cheesecake was also a bonus and the size of my head! I can not say enough good things about it best meal of the week!!!

S-L-O-W service but really good food. Unfortunately the amazing prime rib couldn't make up for the over worked staff. Someone go back and avenge my experience and give Frankie Bones the 4/5 stars they deserve. Here's the deal: My family made a reservation at 8 (Highly recommend a reservation, it was super crowded for a Sunday night) and we arrived ten minuets late. With the elapsed time, we figured our table would be ready, but it wasn't and we had to wait another 10 minuets. To be seated 20 mins after your reservation is pretty lame. When we were seated the drinks came 15 minuets after we ordered because there where no clean martini glasses. On top of that, the bread came out a solid 15 minuets after we placed our food orders. It was obvious that Frankie Bones had over sold and could not handle the crowd. As far as food goes...well it was excellent. One of the best prime ribs i've ever had. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Lush with Jus, the prime rib was our savior in the midst of bad service.

This atmosphere is of the Rat Pack . No not the new Rat Pack the old ones. Dino, Frank, Sammy ,Joey, Bob and who else ? Great food and you would think at any minute Frank ( old blue eyes ) would walk in and sing a song. If you are 49 and above you will love this place.

Excellent service, excellent meal. My wife, and I were seated immediately, with the waitress upon us as soon as we were at the table. Our food was delivered in a quick manner, with the wiseguy cut ribeye, cooked to perfection, melting in my mouth. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

WHY WOULD I ORDER CHICKEN PICATTA SOUTH OF THE MASON DIXON LINE? I GUESS CAUSE I AM AN IDIOT!!! Ok, to be fair, the meatball appetizer was very good. The meat was very tasty and MOIST. I HATE dry meatballs, I use them as golf balls. So after a very good appetizer, out came my chicken picatta. All I can say is ICK!!! The chicken was over cooked (almost blackened) and this is unacceptable. I could only stomach 1.5 breasts of the three small ones that were served. Also, I did not enjoy the lemon sauce at all. It was not lemony enough and was a tad too thick compared to the NYC style that I am used to. To be fair my GF had Tilapia Amandine and it was fantastic. Very moist and the almond crust was perfect. My sister ate the flounder and claimed to have loved it. Dessert I had the home made key lime pie and it was very good. The way I look it, this is a SEAFOOD PLACE NOT AN ITALIAN JOINT. They should cut out most of the authentic Italian dishes until they learn to cook it right and just keep serving the good seafood.

Great For Large Groups!!! They also have Great food and Great Service! The teo different styles of stuffed mushrooms on the apps menu are fantastic so make sure to get those:)

I went to Frankie Bones for a cocktail and appetizer early one evening and was rather disappointed. there are better restaurants for what is considered happy hour on Hilton Head, even in the Serg restaurant group: far better choices are Black Marlin at Palmetto Bay Marina or Wiseguys which is next door to Frankie Bones and has better food, drinks and pricing. The fried green tomatoes I had at Frankie Bones were not nearly as good as the ones Chef David Young offers at his Roastfish & Cornbread on Marshland Road. Frankie Bones advertises Sinatra-era music, but the place gets so noisy that no one would hear it even if it were.playing. On the other hand, it"s a decent spot for a late-night drink or snack, and the truffle fries are hand-cut and nothing short of fabulous

In the Hilton Head area this place is going to give you a well above average meal and good time. The atmosphere is fun, the service is good, the food is above average. Nothing but a very solid experience here. If your cheap go elsewhere, but if your not, get out the credit card and have a great meal and great time.

We ate late in the evening and only an hour before closing. Nonetheless, my meal (broiled seafood trio) was cooked to perfection. Interestingly, even the rice was notable. I give Frankie's a strong thumbs up!

Alright, wiseguy. Break out the scotch and a cigar. Frankie Bones is all about Rat-Pack style. Dark. Intimate. Comfortable. And the food is good. Savory and satisfying. The specials menu had a seasonal (award winning) chili on it, so I ordered that. It was darned good, flavorful chili. Makes me want to sing a standard or two. I can see why it won a local award. I also ordered the Chicken Marsala. It did not wow me, man. (The chicken was a little overdone.) But the mashed potatoes were excellent. I would liked to have seen a green vegetable appear on that plate, but didn't want to order another side. Service is the real winner here. Staff was friendly, full of suggestions, and attentive. That cool cat took good care of us. So yeah. Try it. You'll like it. And yeah. It's part of a chain/group. But pal, I gotta tell ya, make reservations, okay? 'Cause the place is busy, and you're gonna have to wait if you just walk in.

We had a good dinner here last night. Service, atmosphere (NYC), and menu was upbeat. This is a family friendly place. Good wine list, bread, salads, seafood-stuffed mushrooms, steak and chicken piccata. I saw the earlier review on the bad chicken piccata, but mine was very good.

Good bread. Calamari had a funky (foul) taste to it. Seafood spaghettini was good, but not great. She had the lobster mac and it was delicious. Tried my friends ribeye and wasn't a fan of the coffee taste. Service was very friendly and helpful for us newbies. Would come back again if the boathouse is too busy (as was the case this time).

Normally while I am on HHI I stick to fresh fish but this night we decided to stray a bit. I had Pork schnitzel and my wife had chicken piccata. Both entrees were really good and I love the old school rat pack style motif of the restaurant. I hear the coffee rubbed Rib Eye is really something great too so maybe Ill try that next time.

Stopped in for Happy Hour and were we ever pleasantly surprised. The bar was crowded but we were able to find two seats at the bar. People sitting next to us greeted us with big smiles and invited us right in to their conversation. Happy hour prices were $1 off all drafts, wines, rail drinks and appetizers. We ordered the "seafood shrooms"with our drinks and were not disappointed. They were huge and stuffed with fresh crab meat and covered in melted cheese...absolute heaven. Turns out that a lot of locals come here as their "Cheers" and everybody knows their names..lol. Had a great time learning about the Island and will definitely return on our next visit to HHI. Can't wait to try some of the other appetizers.

Very nice place, a lot of old photos, leather maroon booths. our waiter Carr was very honest and explained the menu like an old friend. My ribeye was recommended by our waiter, it was prepared with a dry rub which included coffee, WOW what a great taste to remember. Our party also ordered Lobster Mac and cheese which included the meat of a 1lb lobster. Great food, Great service. Party of six in and out in 75 mins.

Third time coming here this year, and the food as usual was great! Only complaint we ever have is the service on the patio great, but quickly drops off ad the night goes on. We ordered dessert, and there was a 20-30 minute wait between ordering and receiving, and one of the desserts (smores) has to be cooked at the table! Our dinner easily was over two hours, and that was without any lollygagging

Family and I had reservations on Father's Day. We were seated promptly and served quickly. Our waitress was excellent and went above and beyond in communicating with the kitchen staff to fulfill our special request. The food was excellent and arrived promptly. The staff and their willingness to accommodate our needs was excellent. Due to a recent jaw surgery, my wife's mouth was wired shut and could only drink smooth liquids. They strained her soup to remove all chunks and really made the evening better. My 10 yo daughter loved her meal too.

This place was recommended by a friend who has come to HHI each year for several years...she said that we just HAVE to eat here. Had a bit of trouble finding it...it's in a bit of a strip mall (Harris Teeter)...but found it! Went without the kids. Good move on our part. Don't ruin it for others; don't bring your kids. This place is all about "adult-friendly. Got there around 5:30-ish. No wait to be seated. They take reservations...so go ahead and call ahead! Good food. Very reasonable priced. Great service. We WILL be repeat customers!

Decent place. Food is a little heavy for me but tastes great. The sausage stuffed mushrooms and pea soup were great. Order your salad dressing on the side since they tend to saturate the lettuce. But nice, intimate interior and good wine list

Had dinner here tonight. I had my heart set on the Oscar Salmon. It almost lived up to my expectations. My boyfriend loved his prime rib, but the steak was obnoxiously huge. He plans to eat leftovers for breakfast. The Oscar Salmon filled me up and I had a few bites left over, but it might not be enough food for some people. Then again, bread and a salad comes with dinner. Anyway, it looked small, but I couldn't eat it all. I like Wise Guys more, but this was a great restaurant. Service was perfect. Stephanie and our bartendress were both exceptional.

Sat outside next to 4 desperate and drunk house wife's of Hilton Head, loud and obnoxious ..... Service was slow , we had a blt, eggs Benedict and kids plate chicken fingers . blt sent back all the bacon was burnt not crispy but burnt , obvious cook didn't want to make fresh bacon, eggs underdone , we live here have eaten here 3 other times thinking it would live up to its hype. Wrong !

We went with friends that highly recommended this place. We were not impressed. The food was not prepared correctly...the veal was overcooked and my partner's steak was not of the quality that we are used to ordering at restaurants. We will not be back.

While on vaca the hubby and I decided to try Frankie Bones for the first time. Very good. Delish seafood stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. For dinner I got the pasta trifecta was soo good. Hubby for the pecan crusted crab cakes also good. Defiantly give this place a shot. Service and food were very good.

I was staying at the Main Street Inn and asked for a recommendation for dinner that wasn't too far away.....this was the only place they suggested and it was within walking distance. Great atmosphere, good food and drinks and they serve S'Mores at the table!! What more could a girl ask for....I'm pretty sure the table next to me was jealous after I ordered that ;o) Loved the classic Rat Pack feel and the music that was playing, felt as if old Blue Eyes himself would be the next guest to walk in the door. Definitely head here for a classy night out when you find yourself in HHI.

Was an interesting dining experience. It's got a little of the dark, swanky 50's feel and part Italian Jersey feel. Nice booths...it was fine for me...my wife was less impressed. Our waitress came over and told us about the menu and specials. It was like she said the same thing 4 million times and was tired of it. "You can get this blah, blah, blah...and if you want one of these sides, it is an add'l $2.50 for blah". A bad diner waitress is the best I could describe her. My kids liked their food and I liked my chicken parmigiani. Not unbelievable, but solid. My wife was less impressed. For the price, there are some better options on the island.
would give 3.5 but close to a 4. very crowded in peak season on week night. kind of family friendly place so noisy. extensive menu and kind of cool decor. cocktails were good and food was surprisingly excellent. Prime rib and seafood pasta were spot on and came to the table hot, but not overcooked. my only gripe was service was slow. don't think it was the servers issue, but overwhelmed kitchen and bar. our server was helpful and knowledgeable but seemed a bit distracted ?hectic pace. the place seats many so they need to take care of that. prices were sl high for this place, i thought. with most entrees in the mid 20 price range you have a lot fine dining options in hilton head, but definitely casual atmosphere if that's more your speed.

This is actually a chain, so no unique experience here. I thought this was just o.k. I do like real tablecloths though! Service was fine - single person, busy evening, mid week, I was tired and just wanted something to eat. Ordered one of the steaks - I think it was the marinated rib eye. It was the toughest piece of meat I have ever had. I asked the waiter about it when he came back to check and he offered to get me something else. I was too tired to wait any longer. The manager did come over to ask if I wanted something else and again I passed but I appreciated the offer. After I commented on the tough meat the waiter came by to check a few more times. This place is not inexpensive, but the food is totally forgettable. I guess it all depends on what you are used to. For Hilton Head this is upscale. I wouldn't order that again, and probably wouldn't go back. I think their Italian dishes are pretty good.

We thought it was just ok. I had the prime rib. I ordered it medium and it came out a little more done than I prefer. Wife had the Strawberry and Walnut Salad and added sliced sirloin. One daughter had the fettuccini alfredo. She thought it was a little different, but liked it. Daughter number two had the seafood spagettitini and she liked it. If I went back I might go with one of the salads.

My wife and I came here last week for our first anniversary. We were in town for her brother's wedding and this seemed like a decent spot with mostly decent reviews to come eat. We had 7:30 reservations on a Friday and had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. No big deal. The bar was packed so no chance of getting a drink while we waited. After being seated it took a few minutes to get water and our drink order in. We both had one of their specialty martini's, and they were rather small for the price. I ordered a spinach salad and she had the house. The waitress first brought us two house salads, and brought out the spinach salad after I corrected her. It was just ok. We had the 'made' meatballs and the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. In the lighting, the inside of the meatballs didn't look done, but under regular light we found they were. They were pretty bland really. The bacon on the shrimp wasn't quite done enough, so my wife picked hers off. I dealt with it even if it was chewy. The sauce they put the shrimp in (sweet horseradish mustard) I really liked. She had the chicken marsala, which tasted just ok. I ordered the veal piccata and got veal marsala, and it was pretty overcooked. The edges of it were actually hard to bite on, and even the centers were a little tough. I didn't bother to complain as I wasn't about to wait for a second dish of tough veal. Needless to say, after being this unimpressed by the food and the price for it, we skipped dessert there and went out to a few bars near our hotel on the beach. I've had much better food in much smaller places. Bozeman, MT, comes to mind. Quick Note: If you are following your GPS to get there, it most likely will bring you to the road behind the hotel. If you keep driving forward about another 1/2 mile you'll see the signs for the restaurant. Both our TomTom and our Sprint EVO Navigation brought us to the same (wrong) address. We called the restaurant and they guided us in, saying they get that call all the time. The dress here is casual to dressy. I saw people in shorts with sandals, casual khaki, and dressed up. So go how you feel comfortable.

What a wonderful way to dine in Hilton Head. Went to Frankie's three times during our recent vacation to HHI and what a Great experience each time. We had succulent Lobster, Prime Rib that melted in your mouth, moist salmon ,tilapia and steak to die for. Our last visit we had a Terrific waitress in Adrie who was cheerful, attentive and very helpful in suggesting the best choices dinner. Adrie was alway at our table to fill our water glasses, clear our plates and made the best suggestion of all Cannolles for desert. We can't wait till we get back to HHI and our favorite restaurant Frankie's.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Delicious shrimp, scallops, tilapia and cod. Salads were fresh and delicious. Had the awesome Lobster Mac and Cheese as an appetizer for everyone to share. S'mores for dessert was a great way to end the meal. Service was good and since the place is so popular, it can take some time to complete your meal. Be patient, relax and enjoy this great restaurant.

What a great find. Great food, nice beer and wine selection and an incredibly clean restaurant. Bar service was a bit "self important" but the service there was fast. Calamari was some of the best I've had. Will definitely be back.

We went here with a large group while on vacation. It had a cool, swanky, Rat Pack theme, with pics of them and other A-listers of their era all over the place. Our group was seated in a room toward the back called "The Board Room". It was nicely decorated and well lit without being too bright or dark. The only thing out of place was a flat screen on the wall with a video loop of fish in an aquarium...just didn't fit next to all the Rat Pack, DiMaggio, and Marilyn Monroe pics. The drinks (they offer several types of martinis...appropriate for a Rat Pack haunt!) were good, and were shaken at your table and strained into your glass on the spot. The food was excellent and the portions were quite large. I had spaghettini with "made man meatballs". I'm a big guy with a healthy appetite and couldn't even nearly finish! A couple with us had the special dbl bone in pork chops. They were HUGE! It looked like something Fred Flintstone would eat! Despite its intimidating size, they both said they were perfectly cooked, moist and tender throughout. Another member of our party had a steak...NY strip I believe. He couldn't stop saying how good it was. The only time he wasn't talking about how good it was was when he was chewing...or should I say savoring it! All in all our experience was great. Everyone was more than satisfied with both food and service. Whenever I'm in HH again, I will definitely be stopping in there!

We've eaten here many times and most times the food is very good. Lunch is always very good and prices are reasonable. Last night's visit was not good. Food was cold and undercooked. Manager came over, took care of the bill. I would much rather pay full price, actually get what you ordered and have hot items hot, and cold items cold. That to me does not seem to be an odd request.

Great food, meatballs are delicious, made on-site. Some of the best food on Hilton Head Island.

There last Saturday - it could have been anywhere - didn't even know the place wasn't some rib joint - took so long to find that I did not care what they served - once inside with family, coworkers and clients F.B. took on a life. Black painted wooden walls, low lighting, and a pronounced service and menu - Frankie Bones began to take on life! Then the waiter - Keith delivered on the word "service" with the best of menu suggestions, wines and pairings. Great place and food but even better service.

After checking into our hotel at around noon, we were hella lunchy. The dude at the front desk directed us to Frankie Bones. It's a cute restaurant with a Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack theme. They actually have a ton of really cool photos of them and other icons from the era. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. When she heard we were on the fence about getting cocktails she said something like, "Shoot, you're on vacation. When I'm on vacation I start right when I get up. I even put beer in my cereal." (Sigh)....... That's my kinda gal and that was all the convincing we needed. +1 Star for bringing me an iced beer mug without my having to ask her for one. We started off with the twice baked potato spring rolls. These things were off the chain! They were small baked potatoes stuffed with bacon, sour cream and 4 cheeses and then baked again. My girl ordered the Roasted Chicken flatbread pizza. It had chicken, arugula, roasted peppers, pesto aioli, and this delicious 4 cheese blend. It was pretty delicious and you get a lot of pizza. As much as I wanted to try one of their signature sandwiches, I had fried shrimp on the brain all day. Frankie Bones' Fried Shrimp was actually very, very, good. If you're in Hilton Head, this is a great option.

The most decent place we ate at on all of Hilton Head Island, other than the hotel's restaurant, which was fabulous. They have an enormous amount of selections on the menu revolving around mostly American fare. And although I remember I liked their menu and remember that the kid liked what she got (thanks to the only place on the island with a real kids menu), I cannot for the life of me recall what I ate. But that I would come here again, just to sit at their kick-ass bar scene. The place is dark, but not creepy at all, but just the opposite. It's lively! Downright almost swank and sexy... but not quite. It has some cheesiness to it, but it's cool. But this is the best non-hotel restaurant on the island from what I've experienced. Would definitely recommend!

So many highs and so many lows. We were 20 minutes late for our 5.30 reservation (yes 5.30!) and after much consternation and audible grumbling followed by tisking from the hostess she led us through the half empty dining room to our table. I understand there are more guests coming but it's not personal. The hotel screwed up our room and we had to be moved. Service was friendly although intrusive. If I want recommendations I'll ask but I understand that is the way of chains. Further we were basically required to give the waiter a game plan for our service ie appetizers, salads and then entrees. Should that be confusing? Food is as you would expect - uninspiring but it's the beach so I'll give them a pass. The waiter bragged about the handmade mozzarella in the caprese salad - I think not. Further the salmon topped with lump crab is actually topped with lump crab cake. Veal Marsala was also fine if heavy handed. The best part comes at the end when we ask to retrieve a gift card given to my mother that was to be held at the front desk. It wasn't there. The manager literally laughed at us and indicated "it's not like we throw the cards away." And that was that. We left horrified. Hilton Head has more to offer.

Frankie Bones is like being back in an old time Italian restaurant in Chicago. Maybe that's part of the reason why we like it so much. Good Food would be the second reason. I usually go with the pasta & you must have some Meatballs, outstanding. Another must have in Hilton Head. We can't be alone in our like as the place is always busy. Better have reservations on the weekends, even in the off season!

One of our favorite places to dine. The fish was a little overcooked but still tasty. The strawberry walnut salad was so good and refreshing. Blueberry cheesecake topped off the meal and was delish! Reservations are suggested.

A very crowded, very cute, Italian American restaurant that reminded me of the restaurants back in Jersey (with patrons who possessed far worse fashion sense. Cringe). I just got the spaghetti and meatballs, but it definitely hit the spot. If you're a tourist, you would probably want to check out restaurants that specialize in Southern cuisine, but Frankie Bones is definitely a local joint.

I like this place, the food and service is good. The salmon entree is delicious. I reminds me of an old time supper club. It is classy, but casual at the same time. The menu has many options, but recommend any fish entree. We go every time we are in Hilton Head.

Best place we've eaten at Hilton Head. The atmosphere was very pleasant (sort of dark and cozy). The food was delicious - our group had stuffed olives, twice baked potato spring rolls, pepperoni flatbread, spaghetti and meatballs, veal ravioli and tiramisu bread pudding for desert. We loved every bite and the bill (excluding alcohol) was ~$80 for 4 entrees, 3 appetizers, 4 salads and a really large desert. The meatballs were some of the best we've had (and two of us are from a town in upstate NY that is populated by good Italian restaurants). The service was friendly and responsive (our server was Michael). We've been dissapointed by several places this week, but our expectations were exceeded here.

We spend a week each summer on HHI. It's become my family's tradition to enjoy one nicer dinner out each week for the entire group. There were a total of 5 in our party on Friday night. I chose their signature Frankie's Ribeye and subbed out the strawberry salad instead of the house salad. The steak was prepared perfectly and the salad was fresh. My son chose lobster mac n cheese and added a ceasar salad and a crab cake. He raved about the dish--and the presentation was a nice as the taste. My wife chose a fish dish (cannot recall the name). There was nothing wrong with the dish, but it was not to her liking. The waiter noticed that she only took a few bites of the main entree, and removed the charge for her dinner from the bill. This was an unsolicited, and unexpected, gesture. We had two teenage girls in our group. One had the filet--and cleaned her plate! The other chose a ceasar salad and with sirloin. There was not a bad plate on the table! Dessert time was another great experience. The table had tiramusu (sp), key lime pie, and butterfinger cake. All three desserts were really good--but when we tried the butter finger cake, you could hear angels sing. Previous comments about the pace of the service are true. However, we knew going in that the meal would be a bit paced after reading other comments. We used the time to enjoy conversation and really savor the dinner. We will return! Couple of suggestions: turn up the music. You could easily hear the crooner tunes in the lobby but not so much in the dining room. We will be back on future trips to HHI!

Called on Friday night and they accommodated our party of 8 within 30 minutes, and they had a full house. Great surroundings. Lobster Mac & Cheese was excellent and enough to share. Homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles tasted homemade. Steaks delicious. Generous salads. Generous portion of ribs. This one you have to try.

Most of the upscale Island restaurants are known for their excellent seafood. But Frankie Bones is a different restaurant concept all together because it is a Frank Sinatra themed restaurant and lounge focusing on italian fare. Their extensive menu ranges from The Godfather sandwich(ham, salami, provolone, and vinagrette) to flat bread pizzas, to marinated rib eyes. The restaurant also features their own signature martinis and cocktails.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Super cute in here! We sat at the bar for happy hour and had a great time going back and forth with the bartender Rachel. We ordered three rounds of drinks (were given casino chips for '1 off' drinks; a cute idea) and ordered the fried green tomato stack..... Phenomenal. One of my favorite things I ate on vacation this last week. My fiancé hates tomatoes but he devoured this with me. Pimento cheese, candied walnuts, and an amazing basil balsamic gastric sauce. Yum yum yum. I would love to try their other food here next time we visit.

Just the Bloody Mary so far but let me tell you it is to die for. What a great place to take the wife or girlfriend. Food was delicious drinks were fresh and very reasonable.

(5)Rhett B.

(5)Stacy B.
(3)Jessica S.

(5)Kendra H.
(5)Joshua B.

(5)Kate F.

Five people, five dishes, all frigging delicious. Try the corn beef hash, it will change your life.
(5)Sandra N.
Great food, fun atmosphere! HUGE menu plus yummy specials! Our server Katie was friendly, on the ball, and didn't rush us - best svc we've had in a long time! First time in HHI and first time here, we'll be back!

Had a great meal at Frankie Bones. Tried the Ribeye and my wife got the Lobster Macaroni and we shared. Loved both dishes, generous portions. We had great service and loved the atmosphere if you want Italian in Hilton Head this is a great place for it.
(5)Aaron T.
We had a very enjoyable meal, the service was first rate. This restaurant was great place to take the kids, there was a nice kids menu as well. They really enjoyed making the smores for dessert at the table!!
(4)Diane C.
Great food and service. Calamari, Red sangria, lobster mac and cheese, lobster tail, crab cakes. All very good! Would definitely go back! Katie the waitress was excellent.
(5)Anthony B.
Nice restaurant, great food and service. The atmosphere is inviting and the food arrived in a timely fashion. I had the jackpot Trio and my partner had the ribeye both were excellent. Definitely visit this place when your on the island.
(4)Tom G.
Have been here several times but had a pretty disappointing visit this year! Way too heavy on all the sauces on our plates, soggy pasta and a waiter that was upset every time we asked for something!
(2)Fred T.
I just booked the back party room for my moms 90 th birthday party . We had 28 people from all over the south come . Phillip ( the restaurant mgr ) and his team were fantastic !

(1)Ashley C.
(1)Jackie H.
(5)TJ L.

(1)Rachel B.
Absolutely incredible! Great selection of food and drink with an amazing waitstaff! Carr was our waiter, and he did an exceptional job. Lobster mac and cheese is a must, and the brownie (sounds bland - I promise it isn't) is to die for.
(5)Marty B.
The Broiled Seafood was very "fishy". Service was not good either. Stick with steaks or fried food not seafood especially broiled.
(1)Rich B.
Went to Frankie's on a Sunday night. Ordered short ribs - awful. And side dish was cold. My lady's dinner wasn't up to par either, prime rib looked like it was sitting on a shelf for a while. They never asked how things were. Maybe Sunday's a bad night
(2)Ken S.
Service-10 Atmosphere-10 Roominess-10 Friendly-10 Ribeye-10+ Crab cakes-9 maybe they need some cocktail sauce Ribs-delicious tended and zesty Creamed spinach-yum. Not too rich And they take online reserves. Like a Chicago steakhouse with southern hospitality

What's so hard to understand ... when you ask for a dry martini. . Why can't you get a dry martini. .dinner was really spot on and the bacon cheese cake was delicious. . Price was better than expected. .. no baked potato .... strange. .

(4)G M.
(5)Adam K.
Great service, perfect food. Just an overall excellent dining experience. Will be coming back and recommending this place over and over.
(5)Tom B.
It was a typical restaurant. Didn't have anything considered extraordinary. Waiter was a bit over whelmed (forgot my wine twice).
(3)Shawn H.
(4)Austin T.
(5)Lyn R.

I can not believe that I have waited so long to post a review! we were in HH last year and ate at FB. I ordered the prim rib. OMG I have not stopped talking about it. I tell everyone I know who is going to be in HH to go to FB for the Prime Rib!!! We kid about going to HH and have diner at FBs. for the PR. Kathy Porter Vienna, VA

Wonderful food and service. We have eaten here many times and every meal has been excellently prepared. Early bird is a great value

I had the smoked salmon and it was excellent. I always love the food and service at Frankie Bones.
(5)Chum C.
I'll say this restaurant is right on bang for your money and more, good wine lists good service good price and they offer half portions on lot of the items on the menu.
(5)Natalie M.
let's work our way in shall we, beautiful restaurant from the outside great lighting.
(4)J T.
Good menu. Good service and good solid steak. Meat was good quality. Wine very reasonably priced.
(5)Pam H.
Everything I put in my mouth was wonderful! The Maple Bourbon martini is not to be missed! Service was great too. Great atmosphere although a little noisy. Can't wait to return.
(4)Ben D.
Super awesome Pork schnitzel. I love german food. Tomatoes on the salad are questionable at best. But they got the poppy seed dressing so it makes up for it.
(4)Geri C.
(4)Tom L.
(1)David T.
Cheap.
(2)Ashley R.
(5)Sanford L.
Terrible service! We walked out after being treated like cattle! Rudely I might add! We won't be back!
(1)Annie B.
Here on HH for two weeks and dined here two times...well worth it. First visit had Veal Piccata, second time Veal Ravoli. Delicious! Reservation is suggested.
(5)Douglas H.
(5)Max B.
(3)Terry W.
(4)James S.
(5)Adam L.
(3)Jones B.
Great For Large Groups!!! They also have Great food and Great Service! The teo different styles of stuffed mushrooms on the apps menu are fantastic so make sure to get those:)
(4)Dorothy F.
(2)Aaron H.
In the Hilton Head area this place is going to give you a well above average meal and good time. The atmosphere is fun, the service is good, the food is above average. Nothing but a very solid experience here. If your cheap go elsewhere, but if your not, get out the credit card and have a great meal and great time.
(4)David B.
We ate late in the evening and only an hour before closing. Nonetheless, my meal (broiled seafood trio) was cooked to perfection. Interestingly, even the rice was notable. I give Frankie's a strong thumbs up!
(4)Mick D.
(4)Amanda J.
(4)Chase M.
(3)Don S.
(4)Linda B.
(5)Lexy S.
This place is never consistent. Great for groups though. We come here often for group functions.
(3)Rob K.
(4)Eddie K.
Never had a bad meal here. Sometimes there's a pretty long wait but that's because it is really good. Won't be disappointed.
(4)Colin M.
(4)Corey H.
(4)Philip B.
Nice place with good service. Food is excellent and reasonably priced for Hilton Head.
(4)BlackSheep _.
(5)Jessica C.
Decent place. Food is a little heavy for me but tastes great. The sausage stuffed mushrooms and pea soup were great. Order your salad dressing on the side since they tend to saturate the lettuce. But nice, intimate interior and good wine list
(3)Teresa L.
(4)Lisa M.
Wrong !
(2)Cheryl B.
We went with friends that highly recommended this place. We were not impressed. The food was not prepared correctly...the veal was overcooked and my partner's steak was not of the quality that we are used to ordering at restaurants. We will not be back.
(2)Jen S.
(5)Pamela M.
(4)Alex F.
Delicious! Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Ribeye were awesome. I will be back again. Don't forget the dessert! Probably one of the best meals ever.
(5)Noah E.
(3)Christian B.
It might be pedestrian, but Nova and I celebrate special occasions with steak dinners. Our anniversary is no exception, so we spent it at Frankie Bones. Renee, our server, really did a good job guiding us through our meals (by being honest about what to order and what not to order). This resulted in a salad course where I got a huge, but delicious wedge salad with the unusual, but flavorful addition of cucumbers. For our entrees, Nova and I both chose the marinated, coffee-rubbed ribeye. Mine was a little fattier than I would've liked, but it tasted great. The marinade gave it a tang and the coffee a rich char, plus it was a really juicy piece of meat. The side of potato soufflé was merely meh though. For dessert, we shared the Butterfinger crunch cake, which Renee thoughtfully had the kitchen serve on two plates. It was basically a coffee cake with Butterfinger bits baked on top, drizzled in caramel and served with a scoop of better-than-average vanilla. Speaking of better-than-average, my accompanying cappuccino was surprisingly good. A word to the wise, this place was hard for us to find (and the source of some pre-dinner GPS-related frustration). You won't see Frankie Bones from the road, but you will see the adjacent Harris Teeter, so look for that.
(3)Howard B.
would give 3.5 but close to a 4. very crowded in peak season on week night. kind of family friendly place so noisy. extensive menu and kind of cool decor. cocktails were good and food was surprisingly excellent.
(4)Sonya B C.
(2)Paul C.
(3)Eric W.

(5)Donald J.
(5)Nomar A.
What a great find. Great food, nice beer and wine selection and an incredibly clean restaurant. Bar service was a bit "self important" but the service there was fast. Calamari was some of the best I've had. Will definitely be back.
(4)Big V S.
(4)Brad L.
Found a hair in my salad. Then they brought my meal and it had a hair in it!
(1)David L R.
(2)Benjamin C.
Great food, meatballs are delicious, made on-site. Some of the best food on Hilton Head Island.
(4)Glenn B.
(5)Jimmy S.
(4)Jimmy K.
Nice visit. Sat in the garden. Ribs were great. Service just did there job. I'll go again.
(3)Todd R.
(4)Kimberly W.
(2)George L.
(4)Mason W.
One of our favorite places to dine. The fish was a little overcooked but still tasty. The strawberry walnut salad was so good and refreshing. Blueberry cheesecake topped off the meal and was delish! Reservations are suggested.
(4)Deborah H.
(3)J C.
Service was very good. Food was Excellent for all five of us. Our favorite restaurant in Hilton Head.
(5)Beverly W.
I like this place, the food and service is good. The salmon entree is delicious. I reminds me of an old time supper club. It is classy, but casual at the same time. The menu has many options, but recommend any fish entree. We go every time we are in Hilton Head.
(4)Danny H.
(5)Tom M.
Just had a great new year's eve dinner. The staff did a super job on a very busy night.
